About Us: Lee Koehler, CIC, CPCU

As Vice-President of BGI Agency Network, Lee is responsible for developing, recruiting and maintaining new and existing members. And, as an added bonus, he is also president of SIAA Northwest, which gives BGI Agency Network a closer tie to SIAA. He has over 25 years of insurance industry experience concentrating on new product development and sales and marketing in the Northwestern states. He understands the business conditions affecting the insurance industry in his region, and is dedicated to preserving and prospering the independent agent through SIAA's insurance agency distribution network.

Lee holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Eastern Washington University and has the professional designations of CIC and CPCU, in addition to a Surplus Lines Broker's License and advanced training in Risk Management.

Before joining SIAA, Lee was Brokerage Manager for the Mayflower Corporation, a Grange Insurance Group Company in Seattle. He has also held positions that include Sales Manager, Regional Marketing Manager, Marketing Representative and Multiple Lines Claims Adjuster.
